Check before you publish
Scenyn researches, writes and illustrates automatically. It aims to be accurate and checks its pictures against the words, but it can still get a fact, a name, a date or a picture wrong. Videos made with Scenyn are for general information and storytelling, not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. You’re responsible for checking a video before you publish it.
Licences and credits
Scenyn looks for pictures in collections whose work may be reused and keeps the licence each source gives. Sources sometimes label their work wrongly, and licences can carry conditions, such as naming the author. The licence report and credits help, but they aren’t legal advice, and we can’t guarantee every picture is free of others’ rights.
AI pictures are illustrations
AI pictures and animation show what something might have looked like, not what a camera recorded. Label them as illustrations where a viewer could mistake them for real footage.
No promises about results
We can’t promise views, subscribers, income, or that a platform such as YouTube will accept, recommend or monetise a video.
Names and trademarks
NASA, Wikimedia, the Internet Archive, YouTube, ElevenLabs and the other names on this site belong to their owners. Naming them describes where pictures or services come from; it doesn’t mean they endorse or are connected with Scenyn.
This site’s pictures
The film clips and photos on scenyn.com that are marked real are public domain, shortened and cropped for this site:
- Newsreel film of Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, 1927: Wikimedia Commons, public domain.
- Charles Lindbergh and the Spirit of St. Louis, 1927: Library of Congress, public domain.
- Apollo 11 lifts off, 16 July 1969: NASA, public domain.
- Buzz Aldrin on the Moon, photographed by Neil Armstrong, 20 July 1969: NASA, public domain.
Two examples were made by Scenyn itself:
- AI animation of a 1927 monoplane over the Atlantic at night: made with Scenyn's AI picture and clip models for this site.
- 3D shot of the Spirit of St. Louis: a model built for this site, filmed by Scenyn's 3D renderer.
Every other picture (the maps, cards, diagrams and the stock example) is a drawing made for this site to show how Scenyn works.
