About

The right picture for every line.

Scenyn makes documentary videos from a topic or your own script: research, narration, a shot plan and the picture that fits each line, rendered on the voice's clock.

Why it exists

Most automatic video tools fill time with whatever picture is nearest: a stock clip of someone typing, a drone shot of a city that isn’t the one being talked about. Documentaries can’t work like that. When the narrator says “Roosevelt Field, 7:52 in the morning,” the viewer should be looking at it.

Scenyn is built around that one idea. It writes or takes your narration, records it as a single track that knows when every word is spoken, and cuts the film so each picture arrives on the word it belongs to. Real archive film comes first; drawings and animation fill the gaps no camera covered.

How a video gets made

  1. Topic or script. Type a topic, or paste a script to be voiced word for word.
  2. Research. For a topic, it reads up first, so the narration stands on facts.
  3. Voice. The narration, recorded in the voice you pick.
  4. Shot plan. The narration cut into shots, each a window of words.
  5. Pictures. Real footage first, every pick checked against the words.
  6. Render. A draft to check, then the final film, with captions and credits.

Where it’s at

Scenyn is new, and accounts are opening gradually (the pricing is set). If you’d like to try it, or you have something to tell us, write to [email protected].

  • Real first

Every line looks for real film of the thing being said before anything else. Then a real photo, motion graphics or AI animation, whichever shows the words best. Stock comes last.

  • On the voice's clock

The narration is one continuous track with a time for every word. Each shot is a window of words and starts on its first word, so pictures can't drift.

  • Credit everything

Pictures come from collections whose work may be reused, and each keeps its source, author, licence and link. Every video ships with a licence report.

  • You stay in charge

Nothing paid starts until you confirm it. Any shot can be changed, swapped or redrawn before the final render.
